The Colombo Process has facilitated the collection and compilation of important material on labour migration in Asia. One of the key achievements has been the development of a compendium of labour migration policies and practices in countries of origin. This brings together legislation, statistics, protection issues, market development initiatives, return and integration, and cooperation between Colombo Process member states.
